Yoga Virasana Pose
- Inhale, begin standing on knees, use blanket if needed.
- Exhale, bending knees, lowering buttocks to floor between legs, with heals outside of hips.
- Inhale, sitting tall, extending spine.
- Exhale, bringing chin to chest.
Hold pose for 3 – 5 breathes or as long as comfortable.
Precautions for Virasana Pose: Yogis with knee, ankle or hip issues, should use caution or avoid Virasa pose.
Modifications for Virasana Pose: Yogis with knee, ankle or hip issues, should use caution or try placing a block between legs to sit higher on.
